A local cycling group have condemned what they say is a dangerous crossing of the A281.
The group based in Rudgwick use the Downs Link for their weekly bike rides.
However, the lethal A281 road crossing prevents them from venturing too far.
Ride leader Fiona Sodha says: “Rarely does the group head south along the Downs Link because crossing the A281 as a group is not only time consuming but also dangerous.”
“A bridge would really help overcome this issue and allow us to access all the bridleways extending from the Downs Link.”
